Designed by Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper, the Grillo phone is a milestone in the Italian design of the 60s. In addition to the snap-opening, that anticipates the design of some mobile phones, it has a buzzing ringtone placed in the plug of the telephone, from which derives its name Grillo. it won the "Compasso d'oro" in 1967.
